Morris Lubricants

Criteria

Morris Lubricants were expanding into another building and needed new phones installing.  In addition, their IP Office IP500 PBX was unable to support any software version newer than 8.1, and didn’t allow for SIP trunking, or for easy upgrading of phone firmware which had to be done via a TFTP server.

Proposed

We proposed that Morris Lubricants took Avaya J series phones, and that their PBX and other IP phones were upgraded to the newest firmware. To enable easy firmware updates to be applied, and to allow for future SIP trunking, we recommended an Avaya IP Office IP500v2 on the latest R11 software level.

Result

Our solution resulted in Morris Lubricants’ new building being able to fully integrate within their existing phone system, with J139 Avaya phones.  The new IP Office IP500v2 was supplied and installed, enabling older IP phones to be upgraded to the latest firmware, improving the security and stability of the system, and preparing them for the move to SIP Trunking.

Testimonial
