Network Services

Which network providers are right for my business?

In 1984 the public telephone network (previously operated by British Telecom) was opened up to free market competition, leading to the creation of a range of new operators (or telcos) offering a variety of competitive services and tariffs.

Typically, these organisations fall into two categories, ‘network providers’, supplying services direct to users, and ‘service providers’ (or "billing only") telcos.

Understanding and evaluating the advantages and disadvantages of the various network and service providers; their billing structures, reliability, call quality etc, can be a full time occupation even for companies heavily involved in the telecom industry.

Therefore, as part of our operating strategy the commercial division of Connexis provides an impartial telecoms bill analysis and brokerage service for all business looking to assess and audit the cost effectiveness of their current providers. Our selected portfolio is chosen for their consistently good Quality of Service (in Ofcom surveys), competitive pricing and overall value for money.

How much can we save?

We can analyse your ‘Information communications and technology’ (ICT) related usage and expenditure and assist in sourcing the most efficient and economical tariffs and discounts for the following equipment and services:

  • Mobile telephones
  • Fixed lines (analogue or ISDN)
  • Broadband connectivity (Cable, wireless, ADSL and SDSL)
  • Leased phone lines
  • Business telephone systems
  • Video monitoring equipment

The Telecommunication industry is fiercely competitive, with service providers often changing tariffs and charges, incentives and discounts from month to month. So, regardless of whether you’re a sole trader or part of a large organisation the chances are you’re already paying too much for some of the above services.
